Bose Setup
Get Bose AV cart, Microphones, and XLR Cables from Chapel AV room
The Chapel AV room is located at the back of the Chapel behind the AV table
Make sure the Chapel AV room and the Chapel itself are locked afterward
Set down the Power Stand and open up the legs to the side
Holding the Power Stand vertically on the floor, grasp one leg and swing it out as far as it will go. Notice that the other legs swing out automatically.
The legs must be fully open in order to plug the bottom section of the speaker into the Power Stand.
Lay the Power Stand flat on the floor in the desired position. The Bose logo on the Power Stand indicates the front of the Power Stand.
Do not attempt to move the fully assembled unit as one piece
Assemble the Sound Tower
The Sound Tower has two units. The top unit has an extended piece for its attachment (bayonet), while the bottom unit has a socket connection with a slot on each side for connection to the Power Stand
Hold the bottom unit so that the grille faces the front and insert it into the Power Stand
The grill should face the same direction as the Bose logo on the Power Stand
Be sure to fully insert it into the socket to assure stability and a good connection.
Align the bayonet on the top unit with the channel on the back of the bottom unit and lower the top unit onto the bottom unit until it is flush
Put the Bass Module subwoofer next to the sound tower
Place the Bass Module either vertically or horizontally on the floor. It fits between the legs of the Power Stand
Plug one end of the blue Bass Module cable into one of the Power Stand connectors.
Rotate the plug clockwise to lock it. You should hear a soft click as it locks.
Plug the other end of the cable into the Bass Module Out connector on the Power Stand.
Rotate the plug clockwise to lock it.
Plug the Bose power cord into the Power Stand
Do not plug into the power outlet on the AV Cart yet
Ensure that the handle at the of the Power Stand is not covered as it serves as a vent
Connect the Control Module to the Power Stand
Plug the Control Module cable into “Tone match port” on the Power Stand
Plug the cable into the bottom left-most port on the back of the Control Module
Plug in and turn on systems in this order
Plug cart cord into wall outlet
Plug remaining end of Power Stand power cord into cart
Turn on the Power Stand’s power switch
Turn on the Control Module’s power switch
Plug an XLR cord into the desired channel on the Control Module, then into the microphone
Check sound volume is on low, then unmute to test and adjust the volume as needed
The mute button is located beneath the volume control for each channel
If the button light is on, the channel is muted; if the light is off, the channel is unmuted
In order to play music from a device, connect the device to the Control Module using an adapter
Plug a Quarter-inch cable into an open channel on the back of the control panel, and use a Quarter-inch-to-Aux adapter to plug in the device
